Bugs Fixed:

1. Fixes errors, which occured when trying to change notification sound.
2. Fixed issue that occured when a user was on a second or greater page of a search result, then clicked on one of the deals, then clicked the back button. The page number was getting reset to page one.
3. Fixed issue with selected country. It would not change to correct one in certain situations.
4. Fixed a crash bug that happened during deal status update if at least one deal was deleted after deal update cycle has started.

Improvements:

1. Improved a data transfer speed by rewriting an HTTP client.
2. Improved the connection speed by staying connected to eBay (instead of disconnection and reconnecting for every HTTP request).
3. Improved the time required to detect the Internet connection. Not it takes even less than a second for high speed connections.
4. Implemented a new eBay API, which works a little faster and has more features.
5. The new API reports new deals much sooner than old one, giving you more time to buy the item before some one else gets it.
6. Removed “Item Condition” filter from search form. Item condition filter will be available in the upcoming aspect filter, which is available in the new API.
7. eBay Agent now detects your country for better user experience.
8. Added eBay Authorization functionality for upcoming features, such as “Auction Sniper”.

This is it for now. We have received a few requests from our users about adding some more new features, but they may be available in future updates. Make sure you update your copy of eBay Agent when you are notified of a new version to get the best from eBay marketplace.

eBay Items Facebook Tab for Pages

There is always a need for eBay sellers to sell more. More customers equals to more purchases, which results in more profit. But there is a limited number of steps an average eBay seller can afford in order to get more customers. Recently we have created a great Facebook application “eBay Items“, which does exactly what eBay sellers need – brings more customers.

eBay Items Facebook App allows you to add a tab to your Facebook page, where visitors will see your items for sale on eBay at real time. All items are nicely formatted and display item photo, title, remaining time, and a visitor of your Facebook page can click on the item to buy it or place a bid.

eBay Items app is especially useful for those Facebook users who want to post eBay items on the wall of their page, because you can click a “Share” button for each eBay item, and the listing information, including the picture, are posted right on your wall, and everyone who likes your page will see the listing.

It’s important to note that eBay Items app is very easy to set up and simple to use. It doesn’t even require you to enter your eBay password. All you have to do is enter your eBay user name, and all your eBay items will be displayed on your page in a separate tab, called “eBay Items”. If you would like to explore more available options, you can type in keywords to filter out some or most o your items. You can sort items by price in ascending/descending order, by relevance to keywords, by listing date and ending time. You can even select a price range to filter out too expensive or too cheap items. These are only few options from all that are available. You should explore the rest of options to show more specific items only, or stay simple and show all items. You are in control.

Features Added

1. Users are now able to change the notification sound in Settings > Sounds.
2. eBay Agent now supports MP3 file types, therefore sound notifications can be in WAV or MP3 file formats.

Bug Fixed

1. Items search from a specific seller would not start when keywords were absent.
2. Country remained the same when you click on a deal, which is set up for a different country that is selected.
3. Fixed a critical error, which prevented eBay Agent from detecting valid Internet connection. The issue was caused by changes in eBay’s API.
4. Fixed an error message “Unable to cast object of a certain type to a different type”.
5. Fixed an error in animation, which caused an error message to pop up from time to time.

Improvements

1. Spelling error was fixed in one of labels.
2. When form is cleared, the red message “No items are found” did not hide, but it should.

Improvements

1. When checking for many deals, it takes a little while to check for each deal, therefore during that time the program was not responding. The more deals you have, the longer the program wouldn’t respond. It is now fixed by cheeking for new deals on a separate thread (in a separate process), which does not interrupt user interface responsiveness.
2. When no items were found, the message would pop up stating it. Now the message will not pop up, but instead red text will appear saying that no items are found. It should be more convenient.

Bugs Fixed

1. When no items are found, the Search button remained disabled

Fixes:

1. A major bug was fixed, and everyone should get this update, because this bug was causing the program to throw a bunch of error messages when a “Favorite item is ending soon” voice notification is about to play.

If you ever didn’t want to use the software because of this bug, you should feel free to start using it again. This bug was reported by one of users of eBay Agent like yourself. We encourage all users to report any bugs and issues found in our software in order to make it as easy and fun to use as possible.

Bugs Fixed:

1. When clicked OK in application settings, the program would crash in certain condition (When windows start up is unchecked, and was unchecked before).
2. When form is cleared and then refresh button is pressed, the program would crash.
3. When sub category is selected, and then search form is submitted, the category would reset to “All Categories”.

Improvements:

1. When searching is finished, the search result information, such as subcategories, items found, and pages, are displayed before items are being loaded.
2. In order to have categories all in one place,  category drop down box was moved to the same side widget where only subcategories use to be.
3. Current subcategory will be shown in red color to stand out.

Added Features:

1. When the program is minimized and a new instance of program is opened, the existing instance program will restore to it’s previous state (maximize or restore from minimized state).
2. When program is out of focus and user double clicks on the tray icon, the program becomes visible (in front of all other programs)
3. When subcategories are removed and then new ones are displayed, subcategory widget height is animated to give it more pleasant look and feel.

Bugs Fixed:

1. Popular searches drop down list would not hide when user clicks anywhere on the application.
2. When price if very high and eBay sends it in scientific notation form, the program would crash.
3. Exclude keywords field was not working at all.
4. When user clicks on forward button, and error would pop up and program would crash under certain conditions.

Improvements:

1. When eBay Agent is minimized and user double-clicks the tray icon, eBay Agent will now restore it’s state and become the front most window.

1. Fixed location of the popular searches auto drop down list. It use to be too low to even notice it.
2. Fixed one issue where program would crash in certain cases while searching.

Improvements:

1. Dramatically improved memory management and memory consumption. Now eBay Agent is not memory hungry anymore. Before, when you search for something and you just flip through pages, by the time you get to page 20, the program was really slow even on fast machines. Not any more.
2. Improved “Popular Searches” drop down to display more relevant hints.
3. Tiny visual improvement of a categories breadcrumb.
